Rita E. Leaf Appointed to be the Bank's SVP/Senior Lending Officer

Mesa, Arizona: November 21, 2003 - Veteran banker Rita E. Leaf has joined Mesa Bank as senior vice president and senior lending officer. Her diverse banking career includes several years in bank management and commercial lending. "I'm pleased and proud to have Rita join our team at Mesa Bank," said President Neil Barna. "Rita is an accomplished financial services manager with over 20 years of solid banking experience. She understands all aspects of commercial and real estate lending, and has proven business development skills."

Leaf began her career as a real estate loan originator for a bank in the state of Washington. She later worked in bank branch management, credit management, and commercial lending. In addition to a bachelor's degree from Washington State University, Leaf has completed the educational program at the Pacific Coast Banking School. During her career, she has been active with business organizations and was once named the "Most Dynamic Business Women" by the Business Journal in Vancouver, Wash.
